Heritage Walks 2009
The Town is hosting a series of ’Heritage Walks’ in 2009-2010. The walks are intended to showcase the heritage and places of interest in the Town and will be conducted on a place basis.
The first of the walks will be in West Perth, starting at Ivy Park on the corner of Charles Street and Carr Street. It is estimated the guided walk will take around 1 ˝ hours and conclude back at Ivy Park for light refreshments.

Heritage Assistance Fund — Are you thinking about undertaking conservation works on your property?
If yes, then you might be interested in applying for funding through the Town of Vincent’s Heritage Assistance Fund.
The Heritage Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to persons who wish to undertake approved heritage conservation projects on places listed on the Town’s Municipal Heritage Inventory. Eligible projects are entitled to funding of up to 50% of the total cost of works, to a maximum of $5,000.
The Town may vary this amount depending on the number and types of applications that are received and Council funding available.Examples of conservation works can include, but are not limited to, re-roofing, paint and render removal, reinstatement of facades and tuck-pointing. You can also apply for funding for conservation documentation, including conservation plans and structural engineering reports.
Applications close FRIDAY 2 October 2009 at 4.30pm.
