Heritage Assistance Fund
Are you an owner of a property on the Town’s Municipal Heritage Inventory?
Are you thinking about undertaking conservation works on your property?
If yes, then you might be interested in applying for funding through the Town of Vincent’s Heritage Assistance Fund.
The Heritage Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to persons who wish to undertake approved heritage conservation projects on places listed on the Town’s Municipal Heritage Inventory. Eligible projects are entitled to funding of up to a maximum of 50% of the total cost of works, to a maximum of $5,000.
The Town may vary this amount depending on the number and types of applications that are received and Council funding available.
Examples of conservation works can include, but are not limited to, re-roofing, paint and render removal, reinstatement of facades and tuck-pointing. You can also apply for funding for conservation documentation, including conservation plans and structural engineering reports.
Applications close Friday 22 October 2010 at 4.30pm.
For further information, please contact the Town’s Heritage Officers Susannah Kendall on 9273 6531.
